Iyesus Kristos
i mostly remember the sounds. the rugs somehow pristine (weaved buddha in Christ's temple) everywhere outside Biete Meskel soil. the other (yikes) dharma symbol carved millennia before germany. the hills are live cultures, foliage like spores on a terraced mushroom, blooming medicine; a patient existence. easy to romanticize and find beauty compared to idiot world. romance is simulated subscription stuff in america. lalibela is not romance. the hills are hiding God; the Fano ordained. in dharma ugly and beautiful are "the same." Or, the choice is illusory, and that the mind must refrain from judgment. that's a crock of shit. disgust is quite natural. dharma is right about one thing: ugly does not exist. but we do, and dammit, we're men of science. we can make anything.
