the television god

used to sell a lifestyle.

now all the shows are about shopping.

i want to buy something so cool

that everyone will think i am cool

for having bought it.

they will put me on tv while i shop

and i will tell them what i buy.

everyone can be famous 

if we all have a camera.

i want to call my friends

(when i am on television)

so they know they can see me through glass.

the tags on my products tell me

who died so that I could impress

very stupid and useless people.

i hope that foreign child knows how lucky he is

to have adorned me with the latest fashions.
