when the oceans dry up,
which is coming I’m told,
I wonder if whatever is left will realize
that Pangaea never left—
presuming its
still able to realize anything.
if there are still wins
and losses
in the games of our Fathers,
will the tally at the end be written
in ink so saturated that it can’t thin
even in the Holy flood of tears
when a Mother loses a Son?
